If you're unemployed or working from home, not having a routine to start the day really effects your mentality

Do not multitask—our brain is single-threaded.

Get some movement in before starting work. Go for a walk, a short bike ride, something outside.

If you want to change, start with the type of content you consume.

When you register for anything online, enter the website's name as your "middle name." When the spam arrives, you will know which website sold your data.

Stop obsessing over productivity hacks and actually start working on that backlog of yours.

Have no "Zero-Days." Get something, anything at all done everyday. No matter how small, having accomplished SOMETHING during the day will feel good, and getting something done often inspires you to get more done once you've started.

Don't oversleep, wake up at a standard time each workday, and start work at a standard time each day.

Set up a separate profile on your computer to just do work (or study) things. Don't log in to social media or time-wasting sites on that profile, but continue to use them in your normal profile. It will be slightly harder to waste time, and you'll be more productive.

When writing a "to do list" add some easy wins to the mix, even if they are tasks you would have done anyway, like: shower, eat breakfast, and brush teeth. Your brain will deliver dopamine when you complete these tasks, resulting in enthusiasm to complete even the boring stuff!

Fix your sleep. That's the most fundamental thing that can boost your productivity throughout the day.

Eat the frog first. The idea is that you identify one challenging task (the frog) and complete the task first thing in the morning (eating it).

Note down every ideas you get on paper, online notepad or anything near to you because you will forget few second.

Slow-mo your life. What that means is that whatever activity you are doing, slow down your movement. You'll notice an immediate calming effect; your brain starts to process things better, you begin to appreciate the little details in your environment that you never noticed before

It doesn't have to be perfect, it does need to be started.

Remove Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube from your phone. Or at least set a time limit.

Consistency is more important than intensity.

End the toxic relationships. Being alone is okay.

Spend 10 minutes at the end of each day to determine your top goal for the next day

Chain your habits together one after the other, so that one habbit is sort of triggering the next for a productive day!

Have a sleep schedule. Try to got ot bed and wake up at the same time every day, you'll need less sleep overall.

Wake up in the morning, grab a big glass of water, go outside, turn your face toward the sun, hydrate, and breathe. Getting daylight right when you wake up will improve everything - mood, sleep, energy….

Anything takes less than 2 minutes to complete, do it now.

You don't need to wait for motivation to start, but you will feel motivated once you get the ball rolling.

Everything is negotiable. Learn to ask for it nicely.

Write everything down somewhere. Just WRITE.

My grammie always said, "Do it now." Instead of overthinking, or complaining, or procrastinating, the second you think about the task, just do it. I bought a sticker that says "Do it now" for my water bottle and it's a good reminder for me to get up and do it now. 

Turn off all notifications except from the truly important people in your life.

Set a 30 minute timer to focus on work (or whatever time works for you) and put your phone where it can't distract you.
When the timer goes off set another timer for 10 minutes and get up and exercise, clean or water your plants...or whatever you want.
Rinse and repeat.

Remember to be proud of yourself for a moment each time you complete task.

Get out of bed in the morning by taking breaths counting backwards from ten, and climb out of bed when you hit zero.

It's easy to start and you can even slow your breathing down if you need another second. 

By the time you need to move, you're already prepared and committed.

Use body doubling to keep yourself laser focused — basically getting on a video call with someone or a group, sharing your task, getting to work and having the other person there for accountability. 💪

Start reading your emails from the most recent one. If you read older emails first maybe some issues are actually resolved so it’s a waste of time reading them.

Jealousy is a good motivator. Unmotivated and lazy? Think of someone you are jealous of and what for. What do you have to do to achieve what is providing the jealousy? Already thinking of something?
You now are motivated.
